New to Runescape?
Runescape, "the massive 3D multiplayer adventure, with monsters to kill, quests to complete and treasure to win." (quote directly from Jagex)
That basically sums Runescape up. NOT!!! Runescape is way more than that, it is incredibly fun, once you start you can't stop! Even the free version of the game is great!
The thrill of not only having fun killing monsters, doing quests and getting rich but of training your avatar up. Making him strongerm you will start to feel like you are one. Like it is you in that magical world becoming stronger and skilled in certain areas. If you haven't started playing yet, then start now!!!
DRUMMAD.COM has taken the liberty of preparing this guide to starting Runescape and the Runescape tutorial just for you!
Starting
The first thing to do is to go to www.runescape.com
Here you will arrive at screen that looks like this:
Click on 'Create Account'
It will then ask you to choose a username. This can be up to 12 characters long and a mixture of letters, numbers and some other characters. To create a space just insert an under score ( _ )
Once you have chosen a username click the 'Check Availability' button. You will then have to agree with the terms and conditions. We advise you to read these carefully and then click the 'I Agree' button.
You will then have to choose a password on a screen that looks like this:
You are advised to use both letters and numbers and not associated with your username.
Click the 'Create Account' button.
Now all you need to do is click the red 'Play Game' button! Shown below:
On the next sreen you must choose your game detail. There is not much difference. The differences are:
- Music and sounds on high detail
- Better graphics on high detail
- Depending on internet connection speed, game could rune faster on low detail
On the next screen you must choose the world you wish to play in. All the worlds are exactly the SAME! There are only lots of worlds to spread out the number of people in a world (you couldn't have 100,000 people in one world)! Just choose a relatively empty one, or the same one as your friends are in.
Now you just need to log into the game using the username and password you chose earlier.
You will now start playing the game and enter the amazing world of Runescape!
