ability to defeat a level 60, and two level 30 foes using only magic or range attacks.

items needed: appropriate range or mage equipment for fighting, food, and teleport runes may be handy.

reward: 3k mining xp, 3k prayer xp, ancient goblin mace, and ability to use dorgesh-kaan - keldagrim

train route, and buy teleport spheres that take you to goblin village.

Starting point: talk to Ambassador alvijar, who is located in Ur-tag's house in the city of dorgesh-kann.

 

1. make your way through the basement of lumbridge and through the hole in the wall to get to the dorgeshuun

   mines(talk to kazgar if you want to go through the caves fast). walk south through the large doors and

   you will be in the town of Dorgesh-Kann. u will come to a large area with weird ponds with goblin

   fish jumping around. go up the stairs to the very north, and Ur-Tag's house is just to the east with the

   quest symbol inside. now talk to the ambassador.

 

2. The ambassador will talk about how impotant that a train link is completed on time, and you find out that

   there is going to be a new underground train link between their city, the dwarven mines and the city of

   Keldagrim. you also find out that the link should be finished by now but has be stopped due to bones of

   a goblin found in the way where they are digging, and have descovered artifacts from a civil war. they want

   you as an archeologist to go and search around to see what you can find.

 

3. when you leave ur-tags house DO NOT go back downstairs as the train line is located on the 1st floor of the

   dungeon, just head to the west until you cannot go any further and then head south. it is a long walk south

   but you will know when your at the train line when you see a transportation symbol on the map. enter through

   the cave near this symbol.

  

4. once in this cave you will see a rather large railway track, follow this track south until you find a goblin

   archeologist by the name of Tegdak, talk to him. he asks you to extract the artifacts nearby and clean them,

   then return them to him. he will then give to you a trowel and specimen brush to do this with. to do this

   simply use your trowel with one of the buried artefacts on the floor( you should find 6 artifacts in total.

   you then need to go to the specimen table to clean them.

 

5. once you have cleaned all 6 artifacts you then need to talk to tegdag again, in the process of him taking

   these artifacts from you he will tell you and zanik about each of the artifacts, tegdak believes that the

   mace is the most interesting weapon as it is intact and dates to when the dorgeshuun were on the surface. fascinating!

   tegdak then asks zanik to take the mace to a scribe as there are strange symbols on it. zanik asks to to come

   with him.

  

6. the scribe is located in the council chamber in north dorgesh-kaan. to get there follow the train link back to

   the entrance you came in and exit through there. walk the same way you came from Ur-tag's house, but the scribe is

   in the house just west of Ur-tag's house. talk to goblin scribe.

 

7. the scribe asks how the dig is goin and zanik shows him the mace, the scribe says he is unable to tell you what

   the markings mean. he then asks you to talk to the goblins in the goblin village north of falador. zanik isn't

   happy with the idea of the walk so he suggests you talk to oldak to see if he can transport u there by magic.

   to get to oldak go down the stairs just outside the scribes house and head to the north-west chamber. talk to him

   and he will give you and zanik a sphere to teleport you to the goblin village.

 

8. head north through the village to the north building with the goblin generals inside. talk to one of the generals

   and you shall see a kind of cut scene, you will find out that the mace is a holy mace of a big high war god.

   you also find out that a goblin called grubfoot had a dream about a goblin like zanik coming into the village with

   the holy mage, and that zanik is the chosen commander. another cutscene happens with all the village goblins

   gathered around to listen to zanik. she starts telling a story about the dorgeshuun, someone tries to attack the

   goblins during this story so they all scatter into their houses. there are two H.A.M. snipers in the tower trying

   to kill the goblins!

 

9. you now need to try to find a way to sneak around the buildings and up the ladder of the tower to kill the snipers.

   to do this run north round the west of the building oyur next to and stay close to the buildings, or you will get fired

   at which forces you to jump back behind cover. just walk behind the west buildings till you can reach the ladder safely.

  

10. climb up the ladder. you will now be fightin two lvl 30 H.A.M. members with your range or mage whateva you have equipped.

    then from nowhere Sigmund apears and fights with zanik for a few seconds, then there is a flash and he has his blade against

    zanik's throat. the cutscene ends and you find out he has kidnapped zanik (THE CHOSEN COMMANDER!). you are told ot go and find

    zanik and are accompanied with two of the villages best worrior goblins.

 

11. you then need to travel to lumbridge swamp to meet the two worriors, you can either teleport with runes or use the free cast.

    from lumbridge castle walk south through the graveyard into the swamp, the worriors are located right outside the entrance to

    the dungeon in the swamp. talk to one of the goblin worriors.

 

12. go down the hole leading underneath the swamp and there should be the two worriors waiting, if you talk to them they point

    out the new hole with a ladder that you need to go down, climb down. there is a cutscene with a guard seeing you to get guards

    to come and kill you. you can talk to the worrirs to command them to help you, to get you through the tunnel. (if u get caught

    by trying to attack the guards you get thrown out of the tunnel). work your way through the tunnel letting the worriors take

    care of the H.A.M. guards who try to attack.( the worriors dont seem to be able to actually kill the guards just destract them

    for you. just lure the guards round to the goblins by hiding in the small room or behind the crates).

 

13. you go down the ladder and you will come across another cut scene showing zanik strapped to the train line about to get killed.

    sigmund plans for the dwarf train to come down and kill zanik causing war between goblins and dwarves. you now must kill sigmund

    to save zanik, to kill him u must use your ancient mace against him. (you MUST use the special attack otherwise u wont hit

    through his prayer. once he is killed you can untie zanik from the tracks.

 

14. once the final cutscene is over you have completed the quest. congratulations!
